Connor is ER / hospital trip
My son has asthma and is sometimes really bad, especially when he is sick. Normally I wear to the emergency room and manage to treatments, and prescribe steroids and exhaust us. This time was different. Connor woke up at 3 am on 20/01/10, to cry and told me his stomach hurt. She was panting quite heavily, so I saw a few lines of his inhalers (albuterol, and Qvar) and went back to sleep ... only to awaken a few hours after the same thing .. one was out of his grieflittle 'worse. Once again, I gave her inhaler and put it to bed. When he awoke, his wheezing was worse, so we thought that albuterol nebulizer started every two hours. I had to go to the ice rink (I had to coach), so my husband took. When I returned home from the Ice Arena at 8:30 clock (same day), I expected it to be better because the care that has made all day. I was totally wrong, it was even worse! So, we went to the emergency room! We stayed at the emergency room by 21:00 (on 20.1) to04:00 (21.01 in) and he did not want to be better (even after I have more treatments with high doseage of albuterol, steroids and intravenous antibiotics), so they decided to transfer to Children's Hospital (which is a ' hours away), via ambulance. We have been in the hospital ER for children over 5 in the morning until noon (to 21.01) and, when admitted to hospital because he still had not improved. He was not able to maintain its level of oxygen to itself more than a few minutes...
